Friday is just one day away! I am very excited for this weekend because my older sister and six year old niece are coming to Houston to visit me! According to the forecast it's supposed to be great weather, so I'm hoping that it's actually accurate. All my purchases lately have been warm weather, Spring inspired items and I just want to wear them already! But since it's still chilly in Houston, I'm sharing a cold weather outfit today.
This sherpa vest is cute and keeps me cozy. I've been wanting an olive colored vest for some time now and I stumbled upon this one during an Anthropologie sale. Unfortunately it's no longer available, but I've linked a couple of other vest options. Olive colored vests are so versatile and can be worn year round. I have the tendency of being "matchy matchy"; I like it when my shoes match perfectly with something else I'm wearing. These Sole Society booties do so accordingly with my vest. The heel height is just right and they are comfortable enough to be worn all day long.
I probably wear white jeans more often than I do denim colored; I feel like they look better with most colors and I'm so happy winter whites have become more popular. My mom never let us leave the house without earrings on, kinda weird, but also something I'll always stick to. These studs are a great day to day option when I need to give my ears a break from my statement earrings. I love drusy jewelry, especially in light colors.
Happy TGIT! I really hope there are fellow TGITer's who are reading this. I watched last weeks episode of Grey's last night and I really hope Jo and Alex end up together. They make such a cute couple! I'm also anxious to see what happens in tonight's episode with Maggie's mom.
