Happy hump day🐪🐪 It's extremely difficult for me to get up in the mornings and this time change has made it even harder. I've always had to set multiple alarms and I typically snooze all of them at least once. Now with the time change I am snoozing excessively and Aria definitely hates me for it. He only needs to set one alarm and he doesn't even snooze it! Is anyone else like me or am I just weird?

I wore this outfit for our flight to Cancun; it is so comfortable! As usual, Aria and were running late to the airport so we were in a rush and had to walk very quickly to get to security and our gate. I mentioned in a previous post that I typically don't wear any sort of heels to the airport, for that reason, but these espadrilles didn't give me any issues (we didn't miss our flight either!). I purchased these flowy pants during the after party sale and they feel like pajamas! Normally I am freezing on flights so I always opt to wear pants. The flight from Houston to Cancun is only two hours, but I didn't have a problem with comfortably or being cold.

Over the weekend we ate at Max's Wine Dive for the first time and it was delicious. We had the fried lobster risotto for an appetizer and for my main dish I had shrimp and grits and Aria had the hot chicken. Fried chicken is fried chicken to me, so I didn't think it was anything special. However, the shrimp and grits were amazing, probably the best I've had in Houston actually. The grits were cooked to perfection and very flavorful, as well as the shrimp. It also came with toast, which I haven't had before and it was also very good. I love bread though so I may be partial to it.

I absolutely love barbacoa tacos and over the weekend we also ate at Laredo Taqueria on Washington. I ordered a barbacoa taco and torta and they did not disappoint! Sometimes when you get barbacoa it's just all fat, which I do not like at all, but that didn't happen at all at Laredo Taqueria. Everyone at works loves it there, but I had never ate there before this weekend and I now understand the craze. The green sauce is very good, but be careful because it's really spicy!

I'm so happy to be halfway through the week, hope y'all have a great hump day!
