Traditional Filipino Formal Top
I really wish all weekends could be three days, two days is simply not enough! I went to visit my parents this past weekend, which is a four hour drive one way, and the weekend just flew by. I always enjoy going back to Kerrville, especially since it's completely different than Houston, but I honestly don't think I could live there again! Although it's absolutely beautiful in the Hill Country, there's just not a whole lot to do.
According to my mom, the top I'm wearing in these pictures is traditional formal wear in the Philippines. When we were in the Philippines my mom was buying the outfit for my brothers wedding and I thought the top was so pretty and wanted to get one for myself! There were tons of different colors and flower patterns but I love pink and light colors so that's why I chose the one I did. It almost looks like the flowers are hand painted on and there's also gold stitching around the flowers which is a nice touch. This is a beautiful top and what makes me like it even more is that it's part of my heritage.
Do any of y'all have Paige jeans? If so, do you like them? I've read great reviews about them, but I'm honestly not the biggest fan. I'm wearing my Paige jeans in these photos, but I don't like how they fit. They stretch out too much and also bag at the knees. My thing is- if skinny jeans bag at the knees then they're not a good pair. I'm not sure if it's just the style I got or what but I probably won't be purchasing Paige jeans in the future, unless they're boyfriend jeans!
Benjy got groomed last Thursday and I can't wait to share with y'all how he looks! I'll be sharing pictures on here later this week! I'm glad Tuesday is nearly over with and the weekend is one day closer🙌🏼 Hope y'all have a great rest of your night!
