Poppy Clothing Event
Sorry I've been MIA, was super busy last week with work and then blogger events (then binging Stranger Things 2 lol). I got the photos back from the photographer whom was at my event at Poppy Clothing so I am very excited to share them and all the details about my event!

- Hair Styling/ Extensions: Nastassia with Tease
Nastassia is so talented with hair and makeup! For my event she styled guests hair and also played with adding extensions to people's hair. Nastassia came out with her own line of extensions a couple months ago and they look and feel so natural! If your hair is thin or short, I would definitely recommend them for you! Nastassia and her team actually did hair/makeup for my friends wedding and the wedding party looked so beautiful! Contact Nastassia if you have an upcoming special occasion or photoshoot, she will make you look stunning!💁🏻
Food
I've had Hungry's many times in the past and with the Rice Village location being so close to Poppy Clothing they worked out perfectly! Since I wanted to stick with the Fall theme, they sponsored spinach artichoke dip, bacon jalapeño mac and cheese, hummus and pita bread and a fruit/cheese tray! All of the good was an absolute hit, but the mac and cheese was probably the crowds favorite! If you haven't tried the mac and cheese or Hungry's in general, I highly recommend doing so! There's two different Hungry's locations- one in Rice Village and the other is in Memorial, both are great!

They specialize in cakes and they are absolutely exceptional! Check out this Astros cake they made and you'll see why - the detailing is just impeccable and so amazing! Even though their specialty are cakes, I opted for cookies so I could put them in my swag bags. The cookies exceeded my expectations and I loved the detailing they put into the leaves! The team is great with communicating to help you get exactly what you want and when you need it by and the cookies were very tasty so I could only imagine how delicious the cakes are!
I came across Daniella with Sweet Bites Houston on Instagram and was so happy I did! The desserts she makes are absolutely lovely, just look at how perfect the marbled macarons turned out! As wonderful as they look, they are also very yummy😋 The cake pops were probably my favorite and I definitely ate more than one of them😅 Daniella is the sweetest and was extremely helpful throughout my event, so if you're looking for desserts for your next party I would definitely contact her!

Next I'd like to thank all of the guests that came, from friends to bloggers, this event wouldn't have been successful without y'all! There were bout 25 - 30 people whom showed up and I never expected that to happen for my first event. Y'alls continued support means everything to me!
Lastly, a huge huge thank you to Poppy Clothing! I couldn't have asked for a better place to host my first event at! Danielle was so helpful preparing everything prior to the day of the event and her and Emily were helpful getting everything set up and taken down the day of.
